The New jv43 One-off Sailing yacht

The last decade has pushed offshore sailing in new spheres. The Class 40 concepts have played a big role in this. With the JV43 we adapted this concept to allow for a bigger more luxurious interior without compromising the performance and boat handling to open the concept to a wider range of clients.
The hull shape is the result of an extensive research of multiple candidates using latest optimization tools.
The deck layout is optimized for minimal crew and easy handling. It offers a well-protected partially enclosed cockpit with multiple seating positions.
The cockpit is designed around two main entries and a central pit console enclosed by a coach roof extension in the front. The sail handling is managed with a five winch arrangement.
All lines and halyards are lead into the cockpit to allow to sail the boat fully protected.
Above deck, the rig and sail use all latest offshore technology with the use of flying reaching sails and staysails.
Operated from the cockpit, we use 750L water ballast divided in 3 tanks each side allows greater performance and weight reduction for the concept.
To be launched in 2023.
